Health & Safety Accident Reporting

All student, staff or visitor accidents and injuries must be reported to your nearest campus security office. In order to be prepared for any eventuality, be sure to acquaint yourself with their location ahead of time.

It is always best to be aware of procedures before accidents happen. All George Brown College employees are covered under the Occupational Health & Safety Act (OHSA) and the Workplace Safety and Insurance Act. Visit the GBC Health, Safety, & Wellness page for more information regarding accident reporting and health & safety at George Brown. The relevant article in the Collective Agreement for health and safety is Article 24. It requires that the college makes reasonable provisions for the conditions of safety and health in our work areas by conforming with the provisions of the Occupational Health and Safety Act and regulations.

If you need access to Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS, they are available via the library.
