Back to work legislation has been passed: return to work protocol

Our bargaining team is still working on improving the teaching and learning conditions for faculty and students, but in the meantime have prepared a few documents that are worth reading as we start thinking about meeting our students after a long absence.

Message to students:  gives suggestions on how to structure discussions with students on the first day of contact.

On the line:   issue #6  the document includes recommendations on return to work protocol.  All work needs to be recorded on a revised SWF.  Each member needs specific written direction from their respective chair on exactly how to complete each of their courses. It is absolutely imperative not to do work without specific written instruction and documentation that meets the standards of our collective agreement.

Partial Loads do not need to come into work on non-contact days and times.

Here is the full text of Bill 178.
